Well finally almost 3 weeks after ordering it my new computer appears to have shipped. I can't wait to get it and run WOW at Ultra settings with all the stuff turned up to the top and see how it runs. Should run well though... Who knows maybe even running a 64 bit windoze system will help my DPS...one can always hope right...

I'm on Ultra except that I turned down environmental detail (the foilage).. regardless of if my computer can handle it, the WoW foilage just looks shitty.

You'll love the i7. Let's just hope all the software bloat the vendors install doesn't hinder the performance.

Well I did buy an Alienware so hopefully it won't be too bad.. But even if it is 6 gigs of ram should be more than enough to absorb that..

Sounds like what I run Val. I've been happy with mine thus far and I run it maxed on all.

Well a raid has come and gone since I got my i7 and windows 7... but I have some trouble with alt tabbing out and actually having wow come back up. Anyone have this issue where you start to hear game audio again but don't see the picture for a while?

Do you have the game configured for "Window mode?" That means WOW will not take up your whole screen, but I have no problems seeing Vent and WOW at the same time. Also I don't have problems Alt Tabbing.
